Pole Creek Nordic Area

Thursday’s storm has extended the skiing at Pole Creek for a little while longer. The majority of the trail system has some of the best coverage of the winter season. Other places are thin and will have to be avoided. If you are headed up to maximize the last of your ski season,  I would highly recommend early morning or later afternoon. Mid morning or afternoon temperatures will soften the snow up significantly and the stickiness factor will be challenging.  Is this the final pack and groom of the season? Only nature knows. (Trails groomed Sunday, 3/9/25)

Willow Park Nordic Area

The newly formed Tensleep Nowood Trailbreakers have taken over maintenance of this area from PPNC, check out their Facebook page for the most up to date trails info and for more info on the club: https://www.facebook.com/TNTWyo

Powder Pass 449 Backcountry Area (user-groomed)

There is excellent snow cover, 2+ feet! There are user-groomed tracks on the trails throughout the area.

Buffalo Golf Course

We are approved to groom for 2024-25, so cross your fingers for good snow. Thanks to your donations and the Johnson County Rec District, we now have a dedicated groomer for this area so we should be able to better take advantage of any snow that does fall.
