Regular meetings have begun for the 2022-2023 season. Meetings are usually held at 6:00 PM on the third Wednesday of each month from October to April. Meeting locations and times vary occasionally, so please email firstname.lastname@example.org to confirm meeting information if you would like to attend.

Willow Park Chili Fest
Our newly formed partner club to the west, Tensleep Nowood Trailbreakers (TNT), will be taking over maintenance of Willow Park in the coming years, and will also be taking over the long-standing Chili Fest at Willow Park as a fundraiser for their group. Classic Ski Clinic
We are again offering a Classic Ski Clinic taught by USSA certified coaches. The clinic will take place on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at Pole Creek at 10 AM. Whether you've been skiing for years, or are just starting out, come hone your technique! This clinic is free, but you must provide your own equipment- be sure to get classic skiing gear. Rentals are available at the Sports Lure in Buffalo. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you plan to attend! We are trying to have an idea on how many folks to expect.
Skate Ski Clinic
Join us Sunday, February 20, 2022 for our fifth Skate Ski Clinic featuring USSA certified coaches at the Buffalo Golf Course at 10 AM. If there is not enough snow in Buffalo, we will meet at the Pole Creek parking lot at 10 AM. Hopefully we will have enough snow again this year. The clinic is free, but you must bring your own equipment- be sure to get skate skiing gear if possible! Sports Lure in Buffalo may have a few available. Pole Creek Challenge
PPNC's signature event, the Pole Creek Challenge is our annual 5K and 10K recreational race and fundraiser.
The 202 2 Pole Creek Challenge will be a held in person on Saturday, February 5, 2022! Sign up is av ailable online at 2022 Pole Creek Challenge , or you can register with a paper form available here or at the Johnson County Family YMCA in Buffalo.
UPDATE FEB. 2: DUE TO POOR CONDITIONS, IN PERSON 5K and 10K RACES SCHEDULED HAVE BEEN CANCELLED FOR 2022.
In the hope that snow will improve during February, we are going Virtual!
The Total Distance Challenge is still up and running all month, and we have converted the 5K and 10K races to virtual events-- ski your race anywhere you'd like and upload your times! See below for an FAQ with more information.

If speed isn't your thing, you can compete in our Total Distance Challenge: Ski or Snowshoe the greatest total distance between February 1-28 and win a special award! Track yourself using a GPS or smartphone app such as Map My Run, Garmin, Strava, etc. and email your results to firstname.lastname@example.org, or track them online using the RunSignUp site.
