Snow Report

PPNC's Grooming for 2019-2020 has begun! Watch this space for updates!

Pole Creek Nordic Area:
As of March 15, Pole Creek is still skiiable-- leave your cares behind and get some fresh air!

Grooming in mid-March? Yes, even I am a little surprised. Happy to report that even though town is experiencing spring time melting, the trails at Pole Creek have been getting their fair share of new snow. We groomed about 6 inches of quite dense snow tonight (3/14/20) that had fallen this past week. New tracks were set around the area, and the trails are looking very good right now.

Skiing at the right time will be key to a good time up there. Catch it when the sun is high, and the “sticky” factor will be rough going.

Please be considerate the other skiers that use the trails. If you are leaving troughs or impact craters while recreating, you might consider a different time or different trail. No telling if or when the next trail grooming session will happen.

Willow Park Nordic Area:
Willow Park skiers report soft, not sticky snow, and excellent conditions as of 3/15/20.

Powder Pass 449 Backcountry Area (user-groomed):
There is a snowshoe track around the 449-127-Sheep Mountain trail as of 2/26/20, still nearly 30 inches of snow in most spots.

Buffalo Golf Course:
The snow is very patchy, so probably no more grooming this year.  At least we got a couple weeks in!

Worland Golf Course:
The Green Hills Golf Course in Worland was groomed on 2/4/2020, enjoy!
