Pole Creek Nordic Ski Area
Pole Creek is located 20 miles west of Buffalo, Wyoming on U.S. Highway 16 (about 44 miles east of Ten Sleep) and contains 12 miles of marked trails. These trails wind through meadows and forest and are relatively flat with a few hills. Trails can accommodate all skill levels for classic and skate skiers as well as snowshoers. Trails are packed and groomed by Powder Pass Nordic Club volunteers using snow machines and tracked ATVs. Trail maps are available at the trailhead and all trail intersections. The parking lot is adjacent to Highway 16 and a toilet is located at the entrance to the area. No other visitor services are provided.

Powder Pass #449
Powder Pass 449 is located 33 miles west of Buffalo, Wyoming on the north side of U.S. Highway 16 (between Pole Creek and Willow Park Ski Areas). PP449 was created in the fall of 2005 to accommodate backcountry users. The area contains 2,940 acres of trees, steep valleys and a few cleared spur roads. Forest Service Road 449 bisects the area. Telemarkers, cross-country skiers, snowshoers and snowboarders enjoy the area for non-motorized use from November 16 (or the first snowfall) through May 15. Parking is available behind the highway delineators.
**Note: The PP449 parking area can be difficult to see from Highway 16.**

Willow Park Nordic Area
Willow Park Nordic Area is located 43 miles west of Buffalo, Wyoming (about 47 miles east of Worland). There are 13 miles of ski and snowshoe trails with varying difficulties. These narrow trails wind through beautiful open meadows as well as hills and forest and are marked with blue diamonds. Maps are provided at the trailhead and all trail intersections. Maps and trail maintenance are provided by Powder Pass Nordic Club. A parking lot and vault toilets are available as well as picnic tables.
